If you have toys for your piggies that they are no longer interested in, and the toys end up unused, here I show you a few things you can do to reignite your piggies’ interest in those toys again.
Several months ago, we bought a box of chewable toys that comprised of vine balls, grass bundles, loofahs and much more. The boys were interested in some of the toys more than others, and the ones they were not really interested in ended up just laying around in their cage.
So, I wanted to see if there was a way I could make them play and chew with the toys…I wanted to get my money’s worth! I removed the toys from the floor of their cage and strung it together with a piece of kitchen twine. I then hung up the toys near their hiddies. I waited to see their reaction to it.
Being the little inquisitive piggies they are, they immediately began investigating this new object in their care, and then….they started playing with it! I was so happy. I realized then that if I just “repackaged” the toy into something “new”, it would spark new interest in the boys.
So, if you have toys your piggies are not interested in or are bored with, try this method.
